Social Style Coaching Program for Leaders
Social Styles Coaching for Leaders – More Effective and Efficient than Seminars
Why make your leader travel and sit for a three-day seminar? The Social Style Coaching Program (SSTP) uses several methods to improve learning and minimize time away from the job. The training and coaching program includes a kickoff online meeting, 360° assessment, remote learning, and 1/1 coaching. The process has no travel expense and removes the hassle of travel for the leader.
The Social Style Coaching Program helps leaders increase their interpersonal effectiveness. This program can also be adapted for teams. Here’s how the program works –
Kickoff Meeting
The leader and coach meet online on Zoom for about an hour to discuss the program.
- Discuss learning objectives
- Set expectations for coach and leader
- Explain the steps, structure, and timeline of the program
- Help the leader understand how Social Styles can help them become more effective
- Introduce the 360° assessment
- Answer questions
Social Style 360° Assessment
- Leader completes an online multi-rater 360° self-assessment to identify their Social Style and measure their Versatility (how they use their social style and behaviors with others).
- The leader identifies 5-10 peers, colleagues, or subordinates to confidentially and anonymously assess the leader’s style, behaviors, and versatility.
- The leader will get their results at a subsequent meeting.
Online Learning – Introduction to Social Styles
The leader will complete the online learning program Introduction to Social Style. This 3-5 hour self-study program explains the Social Style Model and helps them to understand the Model and its validity. Interactive exercises, videos, and discussions help the leader learn and apply Social Style principles.
Online Coaching Session #1 – (1 hour)
Additional phone or online coaching sessions are scheduled. The objectives include:
- Review Social Style concepts, discussion, exercises, and Q&A
- Share leader’s Social Style Assessment Report
- Discuss how to analyze the results and meet with select observers to discuss observations
- discuss the 360° report and debrief the findings.
- answer questions about the report and recommendations
- application exercise assigned before the next meeting
Online Coaching Session #3
